In our every day, we are Made For What You Train For®. In academia, career, family, fitness, and so on, we remain in a consistent state of training and learning. Applying what has been gained in theory, to a practical application in our lives. What we are "Made For" in this life or even in just a moment, is defined by our actions or inaction. What Are You Made For? This medium is part of the answer for me.
There's a story and a perspective everywhere and in every thing. Often times we may be preoccupied with the business of our day making us oblivious to an obvious. Some time ago, the lens on life slowed down and I began to see, through new eyes, some of those perspectives that have been casually missed. The invisible became solid, the quiet became audible. I began to share, through words, what had been seen and/or felt and my interpretations of such.
Through travel, athletic endeavors, parenting, and just living, I've shared personal experiences and anecdotes that have been an expression of being alive. Some of it relatable, possibly comical, maybe inspirational, but all of it actual. Pulling from these personal experiences has, and continues to be, a therapy. Not only for myself as the author, but, as I've learned, possibly the same for the reader. As I continue, it is my hope that we all find something here that may empower, inspire, provide relief, or simply create a cognitive spark that creates a conversation or a progressive action. Here is where I talk about it.
